Harry Powell

Many years ago my parents were visiting and a large group of us decided to play golf and then have dinner. It was the first time they had met Bill and he was laughing, telling stories, and just being Bill.

When we got back to the house I asked my Mom if she enjoyed meeting my friends, right away she piped up and said, “You watch that Bill Harrington he’s a bad boy.”

I told Bill, of course, and every once in a while when we’d get together he’d say, “What did your Mom say about me?”

I’d repeat it and we’d both have a good laugh.

Have a great story with Bill? We'd love to hear about it.
We're planning something big

With the Coronavirus pandemic in mind, we can’t have the celebration of life that Dad’s memory deserves. Right now, at least. We’re planning to have a future event when it’s safe to do so. Sign up to find out more about what we’re planning for Dad’s memorial.

Help continue Bill's legacy
